During the spring to fall of 2023, much earth moving was completed at West Hills. Constructed were the training bay, pistol range and part of the rifle range. 

• The trap range had land leveling, but more is needed.  The archery range was disked to remove grass and then rolled to make a smooth surface to walk on.
• The refuse transfer station was moved closer to the weigh in station.  With this move, West Hills can be open on Sundays and Holidays.  Fences and gates were installed to provide access and security to West  Hills.

The shooting ranges are dirt with no gravel cover.  With the coming winter rains the dirt will become mud.  Thus we plan to open in spring 2024.

There is a need for more gravel to cover the shooting areas and roads.
Remaining work in October is more trap range land leveling, road rocking and straw mulch placement for erosion control.
